Writing Strands effectively teaches the child writing skills beginning with the pre-reading level and continuing through advanced high school levels. Written directly to the student, Writing Strands gives him the responsibility for completing his own work and presenting it to his teacher. If Writing Strands is used consistently and completely, your student will be well prepared for College level work.

I have had one son complete Writing Strands Levels 3-7. He is now in college and doing quite well. My next oldest son, at age 12, has started Writing Strands Level 3 this year. They have both found the lessons easy to understand and interesting.
