There are many books that tell you how to make puppets -- a common phrase included in all of them is "use your imagination" to create different characters. That is usually the last thing a busy home school mom wants to hear. Helpful Hints Not Included in the Book:

• Valerie recommends using embroidery thread when sewing the felt pieces together. Empbroidery thread glides through the fabric easier and comes in a variety of colors. Use all 6 strands for best results.
• Valerie also recommends using Fabri-Tac fabric glue by Beacon. It does not have an odor and holds very well. You can find it here: Beacon Fabric Glue.
