If you read ABOUT US, you'll know that we have plenty of boys running around our house. For a mom and dad who aren't very athletic, we have had to learn a lot about sports. One thing we've learned is that the boys really are interested in the science of the sports they play. Jim Wiese has written Sports Science for all kids that want to know why a frisbee flies, why a curve ball curves and much more.

Each project (there are 40 in all) includes a list of materials, procedure and explanation. They are all written to be read by the child himself and most of experiments can be done alone (or with a friend).
