The Dow Family

I love toys. I always have. Thankfully, I have been blessed with six healthy boys to buy toys for. One thing I have learned is that there is a limit to the amount of toys any single family should own. Since I can't keep buying toys for my kids, I figured I would buy for others. With the addition of an Educational Toy section to my already established Home School Curriculum website, I can buy lots of toys and then ship them off to others that have bought them from me.

No, we are not a big warehouse with tons of inventory, we don't have a store front (at least not yet) for you to come browse around in. We are a normal family with inventory taking over our garage. We are learning to put the internet to use bringing some wonderful educational toys to people that are looking for them. We appreciate your support and would feel honored if you share our website with others. If, as you browse through the Educational Toys section, you find a limited amount of girl toys, just keep in mind that with six boys, I don't have a whole lot of experience buying toys for girls. I tend to just automatically know what little boys want and need. Be patient with me, I'm learning.

Let me introduce my family.

  • Matthew is my original toy tester. He is a full time student at college now, and has graduated to "big boy toys".
  • James is just entering his teenage years. He has always loved to put things together. He is discovering that math is his strong point. He talks about being an engineer someday.
  • Andrew is 11 years old. He is always begging to do the messy science stuff. Art is his passion. Every once in a while, he will say,"I've got to draw. I have a picture in mind and I have to put it on paper".
  • Timothy is my little musician. He plays the piano (like all of the boys), but he has also started playing the violin, and hope to play the trumpet one day. He has probably gotten the most use out of the toys in the house. Since he was small, he was content to play by himself with his toys. If you listen, you'll find he is inventing his own little world of characters to play with.
  • Jonathan is my pre-schooler. He loves to look at all the toys that come into the house. He doesn't understand why he can't play with any of them. I tell him they are for the customers. He seems satisfied with that answer, but I know he doesn't have a clue what I'm talking about.
  • Benjamin is the baby. He is growing so fast. He's a sweet little guy.
  • Diana, the mom, is the keeper of the home and teacher of the boys. I teach piano and violin lessons from home and play the violin periodically with The Orchestra Of The Pines. My latest adventure is learning to make this webpage.
  • Danny has preached the gospel of Jesus Christ for over 20 years. He is presently laboring with the HUNTINGTON CHURCH OF CHRIST in Huntington, Texas.
