Time Lines

Time lines are must have for all Bible Class walls. Time lines help the teacher and the student see the "big picture". We often get so bogged down in studying a specific time period that we lose sight of God's Plan.

A classroom that has a time line can be a great help to a substitute teacher. If there is a time line one the wall, a substitute can easily review any or all of the Bible. Refer to the time line often, so your students get used to seeing it. As they grow up, they will remember the order things happened with the pictures the time line in their Bible class used. When choosing a time line, choose one that you like, is easy for the kids to understand and of course teaches truth.

Many time lines come in long sections that are designed for the wall at the edge of the ceiling. Some time lines can be small cards that the children put in order on the table or floor. Either way, the children (and teacher) are seeing the "big picture".
