Word Studies

Although they may be considered by some to be a little more advanced than some other Family Library books, these reference works are still helpful for basic Bible study reference.

I liken Word Study books to our English Dictionaries. If you want to know what the definition of LOVE is, you look it up in Webster's. The Bible was not written in English and our language does not always convey the proper meaning that the Old and New Testament writers had in mind.

These Word Study reference books help us better understand literal meaning of Greek and Hebrew words. One does not have to know the Greek or Hebrew language to benefit from these reference works, they are extremely easy to use.
