Children's Bible Class Curriculum Ages 2 through 5th Grade by David and Susan Holder
Old Testament and New Testament Maps
Learning about the Bible includes not only learning about God and Jesus and what they've done for us but it is learning about the lives of people that lived in a distant land many years ago. To make this real to the students they need to learn about the land the people in the Bible lived in. Was it mountainous? Near water? Desert? How far did they walk when they went from place to place. All of these things help us understand why they did the things they did. It also helps the student see these people for what they were -- real people that struggled to serve God just like we do today. The maps listed below are a big step in learning about these people. From an early age, the student will become familiar with places that many people never learn about until they are much older. What a gift you give your students when you teach them the geography of the Bible. The maps are 11X17" and are in full color. Be sure to click the picture of the map to see a sample.
