Childhood is a time for exploration, creativity, and imagination. Arts and Crafts will allow your child to experiment with the world around him.

The immediate satisfaction he gets from these activities will be apparent. What may not be as easily noticed are the long-term benefits your child will gain. As you display his projects, he will gain a sense of worth, knowing that you value his work. He may learn the beginning skills for a lifelong hobby or even a career.

Arts and Crafts supplies should be kept in a special place that your child can reach whenever he gets the urge to create (and you give permission). He should also know that when he is done, he is responsible for putting his things away. Nurturing habits like these will stay with him through out his life.
